Okay, even though orange is my favorite color, perhaps I don't need it (my little blue tractor does work fine) ...but I still want one.
Catalyst has had the privilege of working with KMW Front End Loaders, Sterling Kansas, for about 3 years. We've created great stuff for them and they make a rockin' loader which is a good match for success...effective marketing and quality product. Case in point -- KMW has sold the same number of their loaders in the first 5 months of 2008 as they did in the entire year of 2007.
Now, we're not taking all the credit for their success! Marketing can not take all the credit when a plan comes together and good things happen (nor all the blame when it doesn't). But it is not going to happen without thorough planning and keen implementation.
I have become pretty darn familiar with the fabrication process and I think you'd be impressed to hear me tell you about it...complete with names of the machinery and what duty it performs!
I can't help but feel proud when I see their hard work and commitment to making the best loader. Perhaps I feel that pride because a company I admire for their character and philosophy of business entrusts us with their marketing development.
I guess you can't really blame them, though. We deserve each other. And we'll work our fingers to the bone to make sure it stays that way.
