Kansas CASA launches state wide web site

The state association of CASA is based in Hays, Kansas. I really like Hays and a benefit of having a client there is several visits I had the pleasure of making during the project. Janette Meis, the state director, is an organized and dedicated person to the organization. It was satisfying to help make the portal for all 24 programs to work for them. Not just "work" as in it functions (!) but a tool that helps the programs be more productive. They are too often short staffed and the streamlined functions of the new site has several features that will make quick work of keeping their sites updated.

A public relations campaign was conceived to implement as the web site was being developed. You'll see local volunteers highlighted on the individual program's sites. A tactic to not only honor the hard working volunteers, but bring home the message that no one wants to have to comprehend, and that is need exists even in "our" (insert the name of any one's town) town.

You can take a look at the news release that was issued to launch the site here.
